Sweetbay Magnolia Tree

Sweetly scented creamy white blooms grace this multi-stemmed shrub-type magnolia from late spring to late summer to tantalize the senses. It can be grown as a deciduous large shrub in northern climates or a semi-evergreen to evergreen large shrub in southern climates. Mature height is 10 to 20 feet and width is 10 to 20 feet. Unlike most magnolias, this acid-loving selection thrives in wet, boggy soils. The plant is excellent as a specimen shrub or small patio tree.
