Before spring rolls around, a great way to start your garden inside the house is with the help of leftover egg cartons. Fill empty egg cartons half-way with a mild soil mixture and green pepper or tomato plants or whatever you would like to plant. When the plants are established and the weather is right, transplant them along with the egg carton. The roots will break through as the carton is decomposed!
