Star-Spangled Banner Windchimes

Description

To celebrate its 200th anniversary, we have tuned this spirited sounding chime to the first six notes of The Star-Spangled Banner, which was originally written in 1814 as a poem to commemorate what turned out to be the last American war against England. The words are by Francis Scott Key, an American lawyer, and the melody is by John Stafford Smith, an English composer.

The song was officially proclaimed our national anthem in 1931 by Congress. It is sung at professional sporting events and concerts, with notable renditions by Jimi Hendrix, Igor Stravinsky, Jose Feliciano and Lady Gaga, to name a few. Let our Star-Spangled Banner Chime sing out for you, no matter the occasion.
